Validation rules

Any one know of a spot with validation rules? Like all the oddities of what is and isn't allowed where in an email address? Valid country codes for phone numbers? That sort of stuff...

An all in one validation/standards website like that would be great, but I haven't found any yet. It would make writing custom validation scripts a lot easier.
