Hi http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

I'm posting here as I used to visit techguy's ezboard. http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif Anyways, have been wondering about using xmbforum now and am wondering if there is any way that I can transfer/export Ezboard's posts over to the new forum. There are some stuff I'd like to keep and would appreciate if anyone can help. http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

PS. Am new to php/mysql so please explain in newbie terms if possible. http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/grin.gif

Welcome (back)!
What bulletin board are you considering? Right now there is no converter from ezboard to anything else, simply because ezboard doesnt give you access to the actual database. However, they are developing a script version of ezboard, and there will be an option to convert from the current database to the new one, then data could be transferred. Right now though, just as it was when we moved, the only way is to cut and paste

Thanks http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

I'm thinking of using xmbforum(xmbforum.com). The reason why I asked if this was possible is because I remember seeing it on the vbulletin or ubb site that they could import posts from several forum host/types(?) and one of them was ezboard.

If the only option is to copy/paste atm, I'd say ack! Can't imagine doing that for a few ks worth of posts http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/frown.gif
