Basic programming language

Hello everybody,

I am interested in knowing what is the basic programming language that one should learn first to start programming. I know Html, Dhtml Css & some other graphic softwares. But I want to learn Visual Basic, Javascript, Asp etc. So what should I first begin with? Is there some good sites from where I can begin my learning.

You should definitely check out: <a href="http://www.PowerBASIC.com" target="_blank">http://www.PowerBASIC.com</a>
PowerBASIC was written by Bob Zale, the author of
Borland's TurboBasic..... It is extremely powerful, supports inline ASM, CGI, ISAPI, etc.
And the support forum is extremely good...
I believe it is the fastest and "Most Powerful"
compiler available...

First you can use the programm "fusion" or something similar. You will find out how things work. But throw it away after 2 days.
Buy a good html book and start learning.
