Found a nice editor. (also has hex editor)

Can integrate multiple compilers. Has keywords for several languages. I like this mostly because it compares to UltraEdit32, but it's free. (free is good, isn't it? http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif )

Wait, what was the question?

Hi afterthought, http://www.plaudersmilies.de/wave.gif
Just wanted to let you know that I edited the link after your last message. Thanks for letting us know where the link going. Not at all appropriate to the hft board or its members. Hopefully someone will have an idea of where you can get another editor. :)

You should be able to get it at CNet.

Here is the link (current as of this post):
<a href="http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-4003619-100-1555436.html" target="_blank">http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-4003619-100-1555436.html</a>

Also, I've found a collection of some free editor/compilers.
<a href="http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html" target="_blank">http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html</a>
this seems really nice, I haven't played with it too much though. Nice GUI. This site also has one other compiler-editor that I am aware of.

<a href="http://www.borland.com/bcppbuilder/freecompiler/" target="_blank">http://www.borland.com/bcppbuilder/freecompiler/</a>
Of course there is also borland's demo and free command line compiler, which I'm sure I've seen other links on in this forum. This would work great integrated with SynEdit (which is one of SynEdit's features).

Since I've already mentioned Borland I should probably add this. It's their Antique compilers.

I'd like to see SynEdit come out with a new version. Again, if anyone has any info on this, like what happenned to the original web page (aside from it's gone), is it under another name, anything; please post it.

If anyone knows other editor/compilers, post those too!

I remember seeing the SynEdit on SourceForge. I thought it was different than the one that I was used to. Is it?

Besides, how do use the SourceForge version? Do I have to compile it myself? Which file do I compile? (I am -still- very new to programming cpp)

Sorry afterthought.
I thought it was a free-source development of your SynEdit.
I`m even newer to C++ , so still learning slowly.
