I have 32 MB RAM (4 by 8 MB) and each module has 72 pins.
Can I upgrade to 64 RAM with 72 pins? (4 by 16 MB)
I called a store and he said they don't make the 72 pin modules that are 16 MB each
Is this true or not?
Thanks,
m1000

Looks like they still make it to me. But it must be installed in pairs. http://www.mushkin.com/cgi-bin/Mushkin.filereader?3a7b3c0d073c2698273f0a000 1020536+EN/catalogs/1003 (http://www.mushkin.com/cgi-bin/Mushkin.filereader?3a7b3c0d073c2698273f0a000102053 6+EN/catalogs/1003)

Yes, I have some in my 'puter. I'd seriously recommend another store. You might check computer stores that sell used parts or local want ads to see if someone has upgraded their system and is selling them.

I know if tweakthis is answering a question that it belongs in hardware. I'll move it for you... maybe you can get some more answers over there.
