New kid on the block. $800 for the chip then you add Rambus= plenty moola. AMD and P3 keep up with this chip and even surpass it in some benchmarks. Some call it the yuppie chip. Hope the price of the P3 reflects that it is now obsolete.JT.

I think the prices of p3 are dropping. an 800 is now only 207$. i tend to think 800 or 850 p3 should be plenty powerful for most all apps for years to come. if and when a p3 850 drops under a deuce im jumpin on it. runnin a 650 now and it seems fast to me.
