I have a laptop with ME as the OS. I can run at a rez. of 1024 by 768 max. If I have a game like After Dark Games, which have a max rez of 800 by 600 there is an 1.5 inch of black space around the display of the game. ANd I have it on full screen too. If I change the rez, it will make the display smaller in size, not change the rez. Is there a way to fix this?

Is that set of games DOS based?
My guess here is that ME is running it in a DOS shell at 800x600. To my knowledge there isn't a way to get around this limitation. ME really, really doesn't like DOS based applications.

The problem is not winme but the laptop, or any laptop for that matter. On a laptop there is only one native resolution, 1024*76 like on your laptop for example, and any other resolution have to be emulated. If you want to see proof of that, plug an external monitor on your laptop and the games will play at the correct resolutions.
