Has anyone had any experience with either removing or turning off System Restore and then installing GoBack. Had GoBack on my old machine and it appears much more versatile than Sys. Restore. Liked the way it made restore points and let you pull just certain files. The only thing I didn't like was when you defragged you lost it's history but thats the way it works. I have 4 partitions on my new machine if that makes any difference in it's operation. No partitions on the old machine so no experience in that area. Thanks for any comments.

I dislike WinMe system restore and disabled it from the get go. I have used go back and liked it, but after my last clean install I have decided to use neither. But if I had to choose I would go with go back.

CanadianMe: Am I reading you correctly that you disabled or removed SysRestore and installed GoBack on the same machine?? If so, anything in particular I should be aware of? Thanks

It is what I did had no problems at all. It would be the as using Nortons it just over rides the OS version. But I would diable the win me version also. It is how I did it and went flawless. Just find these go back programs have never once solved my problems and take up too much HD space.

CanadianMe: Thanks for the information. Will probably think about it for a few days and maybe try it. Appreciate your input.
