Is there any why to disable marquee tags so they don't scroll, similar to the way Netscape ignores them, when view pages with IE? I have a migrain and they don't help.

marquee tags?
are you talking about the "flashing ads" that go down the page as you scroll?

I talking about scrolling text created with the IE specific HTML tag Marquee not .gif's or .swf's.

You could give Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org) a whirl. Its beta, but it still beats the snot out of Netscape and is pretty close to a final release. I feel your pain though. What I really hate is when they screw with the status bar. Note to any webmasters here: PLEASE leave the status bar alone! I beg you. It's been done to death, it's not cute anymore, it's annoying. Thank you for your time. http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

The thing is, I like the status bar, it just that when I'm trying to see were a link is going to, and instead "welcome to www.annoying_webmaster.com (http://www.annoying_webmaster.com) scrolls by, it just...gah! http://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/mad.gif
