View Full Version : Software to use CD-RW discs like HDD?
struggling
February 26, 2001, 09:59 pm
I have a CD rewriter and understand that to write and delete files to and from a CD-RW disc (like using a HDD) requires a certain type of software - I believe that Adaptec's 'Direct CD' does the job. Is there any other software that will do this, please?
Thanks.

Welcome to the board struggling!
Of course there is other software out there that will do this... Adaptec is not Microsofthttp://www.helpfromtechs.com/ubb/smilies/tongue.gif (although they are trying really hard to be)
probably the other most well known burning software is from Nero. you can have a look at their page here:
