Confused....

Ok up until a couple days ago Zone Alarm Pro would say something like:

Do you want to allow Internet Explorer to access the internet?
Destination: etc

Now it only says funky thing like:

Do you want to allow z| to access the internet?
Destination: etc
OR
Do you want to allow y| to access the internet?
Destination: etc


Why is it doing that? It doesn't say the program anymore. ALSO:

When it loads up on reboot and stuff I get the Fix Registry box where it tells me it can examine the registry and repair the keys or disable the scripts. Do I want either of those checked? I am tired of seeing the box everytime because I don't know what it really will do. Thanks

Also...on the Lock option, sometimes if I go to lock it and click enable it doesn't do anything. It has before but now it just doesn't check the Enable box. I have to close it down and restart it for the option to work.

I am starting to not like this program because I don't understand a thing about it. Getting alerts and no freaking clue if it is something important or what. But it's best to have so I will keep it running, driving me nuts.

I'm just letting you know that I'm not ignoring you. I don't have the Pro version, so I really don't know. I really didn't think there was much different between the free version and the Pro version, but you mentioned a "fix registry" box that ZA Pro has, so obviously there is more different than I thought.

Hopefully, a "Zone Alarm Pro'er" will be along soon. If not, I'll move you to the software forum.

Ok thanks. Yea, when my BF went to the links you guys gave, he didn't read the site. He just saw order zone alarm pro etc and bought it. I didn't see til like 2 days later there was a free version :lol

No, I didn't try that, cuz usually the most obvious never occurs to me. Plus I really like it here and always wish I had more to post.
