Adaptec update

I got the update off of zdnet but I'm sure you can go to Adaptec and get the update. It's for v4.02.You can check your puter for updates at updates.zdnet.com

Cool, I cant stand Adaptec though, it came with my CD Burner but I dont use it.

What do ypo use NERO? I have CloneCD as a standby. It will make a coppy of any cd.I got it from zdnet.

Hmmm, I just got a new computer and it came with Adaptec Cd Creator...I just got nero, but I haven't installed it yet...and I've only burned one cd so far...then I made the mistake of installing win2k and my printer and scanner weren't compatible..I hated it...and my adaptec no longer worked, so I couldn't save any of y large files.... couldn't find a way to uninstall the damn thing anywhere (win2k).....ended up doing a reformat. I was afraid, there for a while, that I'd converted my fat32 to the win2k system....and that would have meant more work after an fdisk and application recovery...but, luckily I hadn't..lol I lost all my mp3s...severl large images I'd been working on for my server and who knows what else yet...I'm sure I'll find out soon enough!

btw, hi reddsteel and smurfy! I'll have to be sure and check back to this thread and see what everyone else has to say about it...

hehe give a computer to a dummy and they'll do dumb things to it! Luckily there are people like you around to help.
