I would like to disable my Virus Scan.But I don,t know how to disable it or enable it again after I finish running my Scandisk..You guys are great..Thanks..Marie...

Before you attempt to run scandisk or defrag, press ctrl-alt-delete and "end task" on everything except "systray" and "explorer". Run scandisk and defrag. When you're done just reboot and everything will be running again.


You can also run them in safe mode.

hehe.. . ever try to defrag with a screen saver? ....
takes months.
