What would you suggest?I moved it to my documents to test if it effects the system. So far so good.Do you think Opt Out has already disabled it?

Ok I was getting an error message that said could not locate remote server.I put that program RSCSS.EXE back where it came from and the error went away.I could get a dial up connection but the web pages would not load.I will try it again and see if that was just a coincedense.Post back later with results.

Ok I can get a dialup connection but pages won't load if I move that exe file from it's location.I get an error message every time that says cannot find remote server.and the page won't load.No matter what link in my favorites I try.So we can't remove it.I noticed in the system file several .dll files that begin with Rpc,13 to be exact.they all appear right before the Rpcss.exe file.I wonder if that email is true.If it does what the email claims it does I'm apretty pissed off person right now.Have you guy's tried it?

Has anyone using Win2k tried this?
I was unable to find RPCSS.exe.or the exact registry key shown above in Windows 2000.

As far as I know if you did a search using your find files and folders /look in my computer then you don't have that file.I don't have win 2000 but you can also go into your windows folder/system folder and it should be in there.Rpcss.
