Running a site such as this incurrs various expenses, which mainly include: web hosting, domain renewal and bulletin board software fees. These fees are about several hundred US dollars a year.
We have previously asked for donations in a 'quiter way', but unfortunately it has not worked out. As a result, from now on, we have to introduce ads at HFT - all of them will be computer related, and there will be no popups or those annoying flashing banners. The option to donate (http://www.hftonline.com) to HFT is still available. To show our appreciation, ads will be taken off for your user account for a period of one year if you donate US$15 or more. You will also get a custom title that says: "Community Supporter". More incentives are coming, such as additional features and so on. Note: this has to be a one-time donation of US$15 or more in a single transaction (otherwise we get charged more).
